Green Hospitality Award:
The Charleville Park Hotel & Leisure Club has scooped a bronze medal in the Green Hospitality Awards. 
The Green Hospitality Award is a national programme supported by the Environmental Protection Agency and Local Authorities in recognition of efforts made to improve environmental management within the hospitality sector in Ireland.
The Green Hospitality Award currently has over 150 members nationwide in the tourism industry striving for best practice in this important area. The Charleville Park Hotel has an internal management programme which reduces the consumption of energy and water and reduces the volume of waste going to landfill etc. “Following 3 main steps, reduce, re-use and recycle, the Charleville Park Hotel forecasts to reduce costs substantially after full implementation of the programme by all members of the hotel team, along with helping the environment. There has been a major commitment by both our staff members and our customers who are happy to play their part in helping the environment.  We hope to improve on this achievement next year by going for the Silver Award”, says Brendan Comerford, General Manager.
