Sample Four Day Fun Family Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival Day:

Welcome to Charleville!

Check into your room from 3pm and take your time unpacking and relaxing with a cuppa after the journey.

Take time to relax in our 25m pool, the kids can enjoy the kids pool while you rejuvenate in the Jacuzzi and Steam Room.

Enjoy Dinner & Drinks in our Park Bar with it’s spacious patio areas and delicious cocktails.

Let us take care of the smallies at our Kids Movie Evening, suitable for children aged 5-12 years.

Day 2

Fota Wildlife Park

Rise & Shine for an early Breakfast in our Greenfinch Restaurant.

Collect your family picnic from reception and off you go.

Jump in the car and head for Fota Wildlife Park (1.1 hour)- spend the day exploring, meeting the animals, jump onboard their train and visit each sanctuary or enclosure at your own pace.

After the drive back to Charleville it’s time for a relaxing dip in the pool and enjoy dinner and music in the Park Bar.

Day 3

Doneraile Park and The Donkey Sanctuary

Enjoy a relaxing leisurely breakfast

Collect some bread crumbs from the breakfast team for the ducks

Take a stroll in Doneraile Park (20 mins drive from the hotel-no entry fee)

Feed the ducks, say hello to some friendly deer and wildlife.

Enjoy a cuppa (café on site) or bring a picnic.

Let the kids enjoy the onsite playground.

Next head to The Donkey Sanctuary in Liscarroll (20mins-no entry charge-donations welcome)

Pet the friendly donkeys and enjoy the scenic farm and views of the beautiful North Cork countryside.

Day 4

Ballyhoura Nature Trails

Jump out of bed for an early swim in our pool

Enjoy a hearty breakfast.

Check out the fun Nature Trail at The Ballyhoura Mountain Trail Head, find the cut out animals and enjoy the stunning mountain views. For the brave you can even hire a Mountain Bike and take a spin.

Enjoy the facilities at Charleville Playground before returning to the hotel
